Why is Hori's dad not home? ›

Kyousuke Hori (堀 京介, Hori Kyōsuke^?) is the husband of Yuriko Hori and the wandering father of Kyouko Hori and Souta Hori who is often absent from home due to work.

Kyousuke Hori is a supporting character in Horimiya and is the father of Kyouko Hori and Souta Hori and the husband of Yuriko Hori.

History. Kyouko was born to Kyousuke Hori and Yuriko Hori as their first child and only daughter. Early on in her childhood, she met and became friends with Kakeru Sengoku, whose father went to the same school as Kyouko's parents and was well acquainted with them.

Yuriko Hori is a supporting character in Horimiya and is the mother of Kyouko Hori and Souta Hori and the wife of Kyousuke Hori.

He, in turn, asks Hori to marry him. As of now, in the manga, they are engaged. In the webcomic ending, Miyamura and Hori get married (which now makes her Kyouko Miyamura), and she gives birth to a son named Kyouhei Miyamura.

She and Miyamura eventually marry and, in the webcomic, have a son named Kyouhei.

Hori is both a sad*st and a masoch*st as in Chapter 43 she appears to enjoy being shouted at by Miyamura, and also hit. (Also happens in Chapter 46 and Chapter 54). Hori won second place in the Horimiya character popularity contest on November 17th.

When heavy rain keeps Miyamura from going home, Hori cuddles with him in bed and they have sex for the first time. Afterward, Hori had bitten him on the back of his neck, which Shindou believed was a mark of 'ownership'.

Hori is an ethnic slur used against people of Māori descent. The term comes from a Māori-language approximation of George, an English name that was very popular during the early years of European colonisation of New Zealand.

Toru is a classmate of Hori and Miya who, initially, has a crush on Hori. After she turns him down he, surprisingly, ends up becoming really good friends with Miya. Toru seems to be unaware of his likability when, in reality, there are two girls vying for his affection: Yuki Yoshikawa and Sakura Kono.

Hori's virginity isn't discussed. The story focuses on their relationship and personal growth instead. To be honest, the series never really goes into that detail.

4 Tooru Ishikawa

At the beginning of the Horimiya anime series, Tooru Ishikawa has an evident crush on Kyouko Hori. As Hori often spends time with Miyamura, Tooru tends to get jealous of Miyamura, which leads to a fight.

Hori is a masoch*st (a person who derives gratification, sexual or otherwise, from the pain or humiliation of themselves) as she asks being shouted/hit at by Miyamura. Hori dislikes citrus flavored foods (such as grapefruit), but would still eat mikan (a type of citrus fruit).
