Surbiton and Paris has thrown up some candidates, not sure if anyone thinking of nominations but some names that have done well:
Emily A, Naiktha B, Billy H and Paul J in the Surbiton singles
Beth/Tara and Julian so far in Surbiton doubles
Neal in mixed in Paris
Any of those jumping out as possibilities to you, please feel free to add them to our list which is above and has 3 people in it so far!
The 3 above includes Neal.

I thought about nominating Ruben Harris for winning the boys wheelchair doubles. But it was just a one off match, and he had lost his semi in the singles so although noteworthy, I didnt think it took him into PoM nomination territory, but a nice congrats on winning the match/final!

Nominations List
1 Erin Pearce - winning the singles AND the doubles title at the J60 in Edinburgh
2 Hollie Smart - aged 14, won the Sweden J100 doubles ( wirh Ruby Cooling ) and reached the singles final, along the way beating the top seed JWR 134 plus additional top 200 and top 300 players.
3 Neal Skupski - for keeping the British flag flying at Roland Garros by reaching the French Open mixed doubles final with partner Desirae Krawczyk..
To nominate or not to nominate. That is the question. And you all know who I am talking about.
Let's see how he gets on in the SF first, but may be worth a nomination already.

Nothing needs rushing - 3 weeks left after this weekend and Billy may build on it!

Worthy of note is Jan Choinski, whos run in Germany is as impressive but maybe less visible than Billys. Jan often gets less noticed , maybe playing less visible events, but hes having a great week this week.

Do you not think she is already worthy of a nomination?

Players have been nominated in the past for a lot less!

Yes, worthy of a nomination, but it's only week one. I'd rather base it on several weeks - the exception being winning titles.

Week 2 of 5! Period started as the French Open began - both weeks are in the June period!
